Roast Chicken is everyone's favorite. It makes for easy, healthy, weeknight cooking, and the variations are endless. In this recipe, we apply our spicy barbecue marinade, Kandoo, to chicken legs and bake it in the oven. It makes for a delicious weeknight dinner. The spices in our Kandoo marinade contain everything that you will need. Serve it with some white basmati rice and lemon wedges, and dinner's ready!
4 chicken legs, bone-in, skin-on
1 teaspoon sea salt
3 Tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup Rupen's Spicy Barbecue Marinade "Kandoo"
2 lemons, quartered (for garnish)
Pre-heat oven at 350 F.
Wash the chicken pieces under cold running water and pat dry with a paper towel.
Add the chicken pieces to a large mixing bowl.
Sprinkle salt and lemon juice. Then, massage the salt and lemon juice all over the chicken pieces using your hands.
Add the marinade onto the chicken pieces and apply all over, especially under the skin. Be careful not to tear the skin.
Place the marinated chicken pieces on a baking tray and bake for 45 minutes.
Serve with white basmati rice and lemon wedges.
