Biryani is one of the most beloved rice dishes across India. While traditional versions can take hours to prepare, this simplified version uses Rupen’s Curry Sauce to bring together warm spices, tomatoes, and aromatics in one easy dish.

Ingredients
-
2 cups basmati rice
-
4–6 boiled eggs, peeled
-
1 jar Rupen’s Curry Sauce
-
1 small onion, thinly sliced
-
2 tablespoons oil or ghee
-
3 cups water
-
Fresh cilantro
-
Salt to taste
Instructions
-
Cook the basmati rice in 3 cups water until just tender but not mushy. Set aside.
-
In a large pot or deep pan, heat oil or ghee and sauté the sliced onions until golden and fragrant.
-
Add Rupen’s Curry Sauce and simmer for a few minutes so the flavors deepen.
-
Add the boiled eggs and gently coat them in the sauce.
-
Spoon the cooked rice over the eggs and sauce. Cover and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes so the rice absorbs the spices.
-
Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
