Thecha Shrimp Bowl


Pair shrimp with our green chili paste, "Thecha" for a spicy shrimp served alongside okra and brown basmati rice.

Thecha Shrimp

Ingredients
1 lb Shrimp, raw, peeled, and deveined
3 Tablespoons Thecha green chili paste
Juice of one lemon
2 Tablespoons oil
Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions
Combine shrimp with the rest of the ingredients except oil. Marinade for 15 minutes.
Add oil to a large frypan over medium heat.
Add marinated shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through. About 4 minutes on each side.

Okra and Onions

Ingredients
1 lb okra, ends removed and cut in 1/2 inch roundels
1 cup sliced red onion
1 Tablespoon onion seeds
3 Tablespoons oil
Salt to taste


Instructions
Heat oil in a large frypan over medium heat.
Add onions and cook until they start to caramelize, about 5 minutes.
Add okra and onion seeds, season with salt. and stir. 
Sauté for 10 minutes.

Brown Rice

Ingredients
2 cups brown basmati rice
Salt to taste


Instructions
Cook rice with four cups water and salt according to package directions until fluffy.
